Antoine Dansaert

For anyone who loves fashion, rue Antoine Dansaert is undoubtedly the ideal place to discover the talent of Belgian designers. It’s in the heart of this wide street that these trendy boutiques have decided to set up. And, as you’ll discover, a variety of tastes are catered for.

You will find a good selection of men and women’s clothes in these conceptualised stores that line the street.

For the record, this straight street dates back to the early nineteenth century. It was built as an extension of Auguste Orts Street to the Exchange District (Chartreux Street, Old Grain Market and Sainte-Catherine Street). Two ancient roads had to be demolished in the process: Jericho Street and Cuiller Alley. Behind all this development lies the councilor Dansaert - the reason why the City Council gave the street its name.
